Guernsey based international aid charity, Bridge 2, says the money and manpower it has been sending to Palu in Indonesia is having an impact.
The area was one of those badly affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami.
More than 1,700 people are confirmed to have died and that number is expected to rise, while an estimated 5,000 people are feared missing
Bridge 2 has been sending funds to Humanitarian Aid & Rescue Project.
