A conference on ADHD is being held in Guernsey.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a condition which causes people to lose attention easily and be impulsive.

It usually affects children and most cases are diagnosed between the ages of 6 to 12 years.

The conference will include various experts ranging from the National Autistic Society to members of ADHD Europe.

Talks will be held on what approaches should be taken in the classroom to help children who may be dealing with the condition.

Advice will also be given to parents and carers to spot the signs of children with ADHD. A short focused talk will also be given to support teenagers.
