Guernsey's Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of Directors are calling for the Policy and Resources Committee to urgently invest in the island's air and sea links.
The Committee is set to provide a statement today on what investment is needed.
The business associations say following their initial survey, a full review is now needed to identify the best way to improve air and sea infrastructure.
The survey found if air links are not improved the economy could lose £100m each year by 2024.
They say due to the size of the issue there could be "no higher priority".
