Three sites have been put forward as possible places for Jersey's new skate park.

Conceptual images have been released for Les Jardins de la Mer, Coronation Park and Les Quennevais Sports Centre.

Islanders, the skating community, politicians, the Children’s Commissioner and the Director of the Youth Service have all been consulted on the project throughout the year.

The potential sites were tested against criteria including accessibility, proximity to housing and visual impact.

The States will now consider these options and decide how the skate park will be funded.

We’ve really reached out to get the views from across a wide variety of groups and sectors to help us present a strong case for a new facility.

The benefits of a new skate park are clear; there’s a positive impact on mental health, there’s the physical health benefits, a potential reduction in anti-social behaviour or crime and an increased sense of community.
