A number of primary schools and nurseries in Jersey will be closing on Monday lunchtime as teaching assistants take strike action.
Teaching assistants will be walking out between 11:30am and 2pm on Monday, joining many other States staff in a series of strikes set to take place over the week.
The industrial action comes as tensions continue to rise over pay.
Civil servants will be taking action on Tuesday, meaning further disruption may occur at some schools.
Most secondary schools are not affected by the strikes.

The States says that headteachers have written to parents and guardians to explain how their child's school will be affected.
It says the Education Department is "committed to doing everything it can to avoid the interruption of learning, but children's safety at school is their main priority".
