A major search and rescue operation for a missing plane off the coast of Alderney was stood down in the early hours.
Nothing was found in last night's search.
The light aircraft was thought to have 2 passengers on board when it disappeared from radar last night. It's thought to have been travelling from Nantes in France to Cardiff.
Two helicopters from Solent and Newquay are involved in the search, alongside the Alderney and Guernsey lifeboats.
The lifeboats were launched at 8:51pm and 9pm respectively and spent hours searching the area around the North and West of Alderney.
