The funeral of footballer Emiliano Sala was held in his home town of Progreso in the Argentinian province of Santa Fe this weekend.
He died in a plane crash off the coast of Alderney on January 21st.
The Piper-Malibu light aircraft was flying the Argentine footballer from Nantes in France to Cardiff, where Sala had just signed for Cardiff City.
After initial rescue searches were called off a crowdfunding page raised nearly £350,000 for a private search to find the wreckage.
A post-mortem examination carried out by a Home Office pathologist has given Sala's cause of death as "head and trunk injuries".
Cardiff manager Neil Warnock and chief executive Ken Choo will both attend the funeral.
A public vigil was held in the gymnasium of the Sala’s boyhood club San Martin de Progreso.
The body of pilot David Ibbotson still hasn't been found.
The pilot's family are now aiming to raise £300,000 to bring him home.
