An offer has been made for a former WW2 coastal fort.
The prospective buyer wants to make changes to Fort Richmond and is seeking planning permission.
The World War Two coastal fort has lain empty for more than 30 years and has struggled to sell.
The fort was originally built by as a gun battery by the British to keep out the French, but was then used by the Nazis in WWII.
After the war it was rented to a surf club, then to a Christian youth group before being left empty.
