Ticket prices on Jersey’s bus routes will rise for some passengers next month.

From April 1st, LibertyBus has announced that the adult cash fare will increase from £2.20 to £2.30.

Avanchi card holders will see the price of their journey go up from £1.60 to £1.65 for adults and from 80p to 85p for children.

The AvanchiStudent fare will also increase from 80p to 85p.

There will however be a price freeze for those who pay on contactless and those who pay annually.

These fare changes overall are well below inflation and continue to offer excellent value for money with an ever expanding bus network across Jersey.
