Void ballot means second pay deal vote for Jersey Nursing Association

Members of the Jersey Nursing Association will have to vote for a second time on a new pay deal from the States Employment Board, due to a void ballot.

On Friday the Royal College of Nurses accepted the deal, which is September 2019 RPI plus 1.3%, with rises of 3.1% for 2018 and 3% for 2019.

Concerns were raised last week about the validity of the JNA ballot and an investigation has found some of the information sent out to members was wrong.

A new ballot will be issued to members this week.
