The new Channel Islands Air Search plane, know as the Lions' Pride, has been unveiled.
It will replace the aircraft that crash landed on Jersey's north coast five years ago.
Dignitaries from across the Channel Islands watched on as the Deans of Jersey and Guernsey blessed the plane at a service this weekend.
The new purpose adapted Britten Norman Islander aircraft will become fully operational in May.
The founder of the organisation says the plane will shape the future of air and rescue missions for the next 30 years.
