Guernsey U21s beat Jersey 4-3 at Springfield to win the Ambassadeur Bowl for the fifth year in a row.

Will Fazakerley gave the Sarnians the lead midway through the first-half, before Jake Prince levelled for the home side.

After the break, Guernsey went back in front with an own-goal before Robbie Legg - playing his first match after 16 months out with a knee injury - found the net on his return.

Sol Solomon pulled on back for Jersey, but Charlton Gauvain raced clear and squared for Legg to extend the vistors' advantage.

Jersey captain Harry Curtis scored a fine goal late on to set up a tense finale, but Guernsey held on for a record-breaking victory.

It's my last year and it means so much for local football, myself and all the boys, just doing it again. When you've got someone like Charlton Gauvain playing for you, he's a match-winner. Still credit to all the boys, working hard, just doing everything we can do, I'm just buzzing for the win.

– Tyler Mckane, Captain, Guernsey U21s
