More volunteers are needed for this year's Liberation Day in Guernsey.

Organisers from EC Events are looking for at least a dozen people to give their time and help out at one of the biggest events in the Channel Islands.

Some of the areas that require volunteers are; manning the bouncy castles and other children's activities on Crown Pier, stewards to man the Military Cavalcade and volunteers to walk along the quay ensuring all roving entertainment has the space it needs.

This is a great opportunity to learn about and contribute to a major community event, work with the small team of people who produce the event as well as having fun and making new friends in the process. As a thank you, a free meal voucher will be given to use at one of the various catering stalls available on the day.
