Around £350,000 allocated to mental health social workers in Jersey has gone unspent - leading to what some are calling "a severe lack of investment" in the island's mental health services and facilities.
A Freedom of Information request by ITV Channel TV has found that in 2016, £327,000 was allocated to mental health social workers - of which £20,000 was left over.
In 2017, the budget was upped to almost £480,000, but 25% of that was not used.
And last year, an increase again as £680,000 was in the budget, with 35% going unspent.
In total, that means almost £350,000 was not spent over the last three years.
