NASUWT teaching union officials have agreed to the 2018-20 pay offer from Jersey's States Employment Board.

The offer will now be put to members of the union, but it is not certain whether they will accept it.

The proposed agreement would see, over three years, a consolidated increase worth 9.4%, plus 2.1% of non-consolidated cash payments.

We are happy that we were able to clarify understanding of the detail in the pay offer and provide reassurance to the union officials about the scope of the review for teachers' supplementary allowances.

– Senator John Le Fondré, Jersey's Chief Minister

The offer has already been agreed by teachers represented by the National Education Union.
