Taxi and cab tariffs will go up in Jersey.
The cost of a taxi on Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 11pm will start off as £3.06 (up from £2.96) and will increase by 23 pence for every 10th of a mile.
The Minister for Infrastructure has said the 3.4% increase is in-line with inflation.
The cost of a taxi between 11pm and 7am Monday to Saturday and all-day on Sundays will start off as £3.16 (up from £3.06) and will go up by 33 pence every tenth of a mile.
This tariff will also apply to public holidays.
However at 7pm until 7am on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Years Eve until 2 January, prices will start off at £5.42 (up from £5.24) and will cost 36 pence for every 10th of a mile.
The new prices are based on journeys from a designated taxi rank, however pre-booked cab prices will vary.
A standard daytime ride from a St Helier rank to the Airport will typically rise from £13.13 to around £13.64.
