Jersey has the third fastest broadband in the world

Jersey has one of the fastest broadband speeds in the world according to a new international league table.

The island has climbed seven places from 2018 to third position.

The price comparison website cable.co.uk has published its 2019 broadband speed league table, which has Jersey at number three, behind Taiwan and Singapore,

Guernsey is at number 44, which is better than its 2018 position of 54.

There are plans to improve internet speeds in Guernsey in future.
