The report on progress made in Jersey's care system, following the 2017 care inquiry, is due to be published in a fortnight.
The panel, led by Frances Oldham QC, returned to the island earlier this year to gather evidence on what has changed since their original investigation.
It highlighted multiple failings over decades and concluded children in care may still be at risk.
Since then the Government has implemented a number of changes to Children's Service, including stronger safeguarding arrangements.
The Chief Minister has previously stated he wants Jersey's system to be among the best in the British Isles.
The IJCI will be published on Monday 23 September at www.ijcipanel.org when one of the panel's members will present their findings at a meeting in St Helier.
