Same-sex couples could soon be allowed to marry in Sark.
The change, which will be the subject of today's Chief Pleas meeting, would bring the island in-line with Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey, who already allow same-sex weddings.
Also on the agenda for the meeting is a vote on new European food produce legislation. These laws would have to be passed in order to continue producing meat and other foods, therefore the result of the vote could also determine the future of the island's slaughterhouse.
The full agenda can be found here.
