Ian Brown from Guernsey has been crowned the 2019 Channel Islands Pride of Britain Fundraiser of the Year.
As the winner of the regional award he will go to London and represent the islands at the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.
Ian set up the 30:30 cycling challenge in 2008 to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice.
In the 30:30, islanders are encouraged to ride their bikes for at least one hour per day over a 30 day period between April and May.
It has become an annual event and raised £750,000 for the hospice.
Ian also co-founded a male cancer charity in 2012.
'Male Uprising Guernsey' (MUG) runs campaigns to raise awareness around the symptoms and treatment of prostate, bowel and testicular cancers.
MUG also helps to fund new equipment to improve the diagnosis and care of local men suffering with male cancers.
