Islanders think the Channel Islands are unprepared for Brexit

Almost half of people surveyed in Jersey and Guernsey believe their governments are not doing enough to prepare for Brexit.

45% of people in Guernsey and 49% of people in Jersey answered 'No' to the question 'Do you think your government is doing enough to prepare for Brexit?'.

In a recent survey by Island Global Research 3,737 people from across the Channel Islands responded to a series of questions to find out what people think about Brexit.

Just over 60% of people surveyed from across the Channel Islands would prefer for Britain to remain in the European Union.

The survey also asked people what they are most worried about.

The survey also asked people in the Isle of Man their opinions on Brexit. Here, the majority (51%) of people asked wanted Brexit to happen.
