Jersey's Jonny Labey wows judges with his jazz version of 'Show Me Love' securing his spot in next week's show.
He received a standing ovation from all three judges.
Simon Cowell described his performance as "actually brilliant" and said he delivered it with confidence and swagger, noting it would be a performance he is going to remember.
He added: "I think you're one of the best contestants in this entire competition."
And Nicole Scherzinger was in full support too saying "look kid, you can dance, you can sing... you got a great set of teeth, you've got it all."
But it was mentor Louis Walsh's words that gave Jonny a ticket straight to next week's show.
You've got something special, you light up that stage when you smile, you're the greatest little showman so far tonight. I see massive potential, I love what you do, and Jonny, for that reason,I'm giving you my safe seat!
He joined The Chase's Jenny Ryan, filling two of the three safe seats.
It was later in the programme that Simon Cowell said Jonny had "set the standard in showing you can do a great version of a song and make it your own".
