Jersey actor Jonny Labey's time on X Factor: Celebrity has come to an end.
The 26-year-old former Eastenders star was eliminated from the competition in the second live show, along with Coronation Street actress Victoria Ekanoye.
Jonny put his own swinging spin on Jet's 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?'
However, after saying he had 'set the standard' in the first live show, Simon Cowell was less impressed with his second live performance, describing it as 'too corny' and 'too cabaret'.
Jonny found himself in the bottom two with journalist and broadcaster Martin Bashir, who forgot his lines during his rendition the Commodores song 'Easy'
Simon Cowell refused to send home either contestant and the decision went to a public vote. Dermot O'Leary then announced that Jonny had received less votes and would be leaving the competition.
On hearing the news, Jonny said he had been grateful for the opportunity.
