Roadworks at Five Oaks roundabout in Jersey are to due to get back underway.

La Grande Route De La St Martin will be closed to traffic in both directions between 9am until 9pm on Sunday 10 November while road resurfacing work takes place.

Traffic will be diverted from both directions along Princes Tower Road and Rue du Trot, past Hougue Bie.

Between 8am on Monday 11 November and 6pm on Wednesday 13 November, drivers will be unable to exit the roundabout onto Grande Route de St Martin and will have to use the diversion.

Motorists coming from the direction of Maufant will have to follow a diversion on Thursday 14 November and Friday 15 November.

This is a significant project, with a number of phased sections to work on. We aim to minimise disruption by working at the weekends and outside of peak traffic times as much as we can, but we appreciate that it will be an inconvenience for some for which we apologise.

– Rob Cabot, Highway Maintenance Manager

Work to rebuild the roundabout will continue until mid-December.
