People in Jersey can now apply online for a registration card.

The cards are required during important life events, like moving home or starting a new job, and confirm your residential status and Social Security number.

After years of having to apply in person for a registration card, now islanders with a Social Security number can fill out an online form.

1,300 registration cards are issued every month, many of them being replacement cards.

We’re committed to making it easy for customers to access government services, whilst ensuring that customer privacy remains a top priority. We have worked extensively with Yoti to ensure the ID system protects customers’ data. Using digital ID will save customers time and allow the Government to deliver services more efficiently.
