Cats and dogs are will be allowed to board Aurigny flights from Guernsey to Jersey and Southampton.

It is hoped the move will make travelling easier for pet owners. Up until now those wishing to take pets in and out of the islands have had to take a boat.

Aurigny have limited the number of pets to one per flight and they will travel in a cage in the front hold.

Aurigny have said that due to the short flight time of their Jersey and Southampton routes pets ‘should experience a low stress brief journey’.

You can book your cat or dog on a flight from April 2020. Prices start at £35.
