A vets in Jersey is appealing for baby sock donations to help the animals in their care.

Small socks are often used to stop dogs and cats in particular from losing vital heat when recovering from surgery, or to stop them licking their wounds.

As they are now running out of their existing supplies, the team at Jersey Village Vets is asking islanders who have baby socks that have been outgrown or are no longer needed to drop them off at one of the surgeries.
