The GSPCA says it is caring for an unprecedented number of hedgehogs this winter.
More than 600 have been in the charity's care as the recent bad weather has made it a difficult period for the animals.
The conditions have meant that young hedgehogs have been unable to rest and have also lacked the food and resources to sustain themselves properly.
The GSPCA is urging the public to put out food, including specialist hedgehog food or simply cat or dog food.
