A Christmas market in Jersey is set to go ahead amid fears it may have to be cancelled.

The Norman Christmas Market in the Weighbridge was due to run from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 December, but had to be put on hold as traders could not make a safe boat crossing to the island.

However, organisers say that stallholders will be travelling tomorrow with the event now due to run from Sunday 15 to Wednesday 18.

The event offers festive French food, drink, arts and crafts.
