A street in Jersey has now reopened after it closed due to safety concerns.
Gloucester Street was shut off to vehicles and pedestrians this morning while the Fire Department assess the safety of a structure on Jersey General Hospital.
Waterproofing on the roof of the Granite Block hospital was checked after flashing came loose overnight in the strong winds.
Pedestrians and vehicles can now use it as normal. Jersey Fire and Rescue Service thanked the public for their cooperation.
Traffic was redirected and islanders were encouraged to avoid the area until further notice.
Health and Community Services say anyone who was unable to get to their Hospital appointment today will have it re-booked.
