Drivers in Jersey are unable to use credit and debit cards to pay for parking at Sand Street car park.
The States says it is down to a technical error with the merchant provider.
Those using UniTickets and ParkSmart cards are still able to pay, and the issue is only affecting Sand Street with other car parks accepting payment as normal.
Jersey's Parking Control Manager has apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers.
We are working closely with our merchant provider to restore the service; we hope to resolve the issue this week. In the meantime, we have doubled the number of staff working on-site at Sand Street, and have two staff taking payment via phone.
Drivers who want to use debit or credit card to pay for parking at Sand Street are being told to do so in person at the main Parking Control office. Opening hours have been extended to accommodate anyone wishing to do so.
Payments can also be made over the phone to the Administration Office on 01534 448 660.
