Police still searching for missing man in Guernsey

Police are still calling for information on the whereabouts of Matthew Bourgaize after he went missing in Guernsey one week ago today.

He was last seen on the afternoon of Saturday 11 January leaving the foyer of the Oberlands Centre at 14:50.

Police have released new CCTV images of the missing 29-year-old and are now using a drone and the Sea Fisheries RIB in their search efforts.

Mr Bourgaize is known to have been receiving mental health treatment at the facility and is thought to have been responding well. Guernsey Police says it had been agreed that he could meet friends and family in the foyer of the Oberlands Centre but he then went on to leave the building.

Officers say they are searching relevant locations and speaking with Matthew’s friends and family.

Anyone with information can call Guernsey Police on 01481 725 111.

The final CCTV sighting appears to show Matthew exiting Croutes Havilland and turning right onto Fort Road.
