Public urged to help find missing man

The police have stopped 100 people in a hope to find Matthew Bourgaize who went missing over one week ago.

The 29-year-old was last seen on the afternoon of Saturday 11 January leaving the foyer of the Oberlands Centre at 2:50pm.

Matthew had been receiving mental health treatment at the Oberlands Centre and is thought to have been responding well.

Guernsey Police says it had been agreed that Mr Bourgaize could meet friends and family in the foyer, but he went on to leave the building.

Despite continued efforts there has been no further sightings of Matthew and police say his family are extremely worried about him.

We are asking everyone to please look at the attached photo and to keep a look out particularly if you are in the area of Fort Road.

A drone, air search and boat has been used to search for him.
