Jersey’s Assistant Chief Minister steps aside after dangerous driving charge

Connétable Christopher Taylor has stepped aside ‘temporarily’ from his duties after being charged with dangerous driving.

The Assistant Chief Minister wrote a letter to the Chief Minister on 20 January.

The alleged motoring offence took place in June 2019.

The Connétable ‘strenuously’ denies the allegations, which have not been detailed.
