Entry to Jersey Museum could soon be free for everyone, and access to Heritage sites discounted for students.

Politicians voted in May to spend 1% of its future budget on arts and culture.

Deputy Montford Tadier wants to see part of that extra funding spent on improving access to cultural sites.

He says discussions are underway with Jersey Heritage.

If you're on a relativelylow income it might be difficult to decide you want to spend your money onculture and heritage when you've got to put food and heat your place so I thinkit's about what we can afford to do and also making museums as accessible aspossible for people.
