19-year-old who died of suspected MDMA consumption named as James Le Bourgeois

The 19-year-old who died of suspected MDMA consumption early on Saturday morning has been named as James Le Bourgeois.

Jersey Police say that they responded to a call in St Lawrence by the ambulance service at around 2:30 on Saturday morning (15 February).

Drugs and cash have been seized during the police investigations.

On Saturday (15 February) one woman and three men between the ages of 17 and 26 were arrested and have now been released on bail.

On Sunday (16 February) two men were arrested on drugs charges, they are 18 and 31-years-old.

Another man, aged 20, remains in police custody.

It brings the total number of people arrested to seven.

We continue to remind the public against the use of MDMA and anybody who may have taken the drug recently and may be feeling unwell or have suffered any adverse effects is to seek medical attention.
