Jersey States will not be flying the Union Flag on public buildings to mark Prince Andrew's birthday.
The Duke of York turns 60 today.
The government says they no longer need to put up the Union Flag on its buildings since he has stepped back from public duties.
Prince Andrew has announced he was stepping back from public duties for the foreseeable future last year.
In a statement released through Buckingham Palace, Prince Andrew said he "unequivocally regret(s) my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein."
Prince Andrew expressed his "deep sympathy" to Epstein's victims and "everyone who has been affected."
Epstein killed himself in prison while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges earlier this year.
It comes after his controversial Newsnight interview on his friendship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
