A garden in memory of a toddler who was killed while on holiday in Jersey is being considered as part of plans to extend Millennium Park.

Three-year-old Clinton Pringle died in June 2016 on a "shared space" while visiting the island from Glasgow on a family holiday.

He was knocked down on Tunnell Street, where a new pedestrian crossing has since been installed.

Andium Homes who are developing the area say the 'misty marsh' would include a play area.

A plaque was put up in 2018 to pay tribute to Clinton which describes him as "the bravest little lion with the biggest heart".

The consultation for the project closes today (Thursday 20th February).

The extension will run from the existing park all the way up to St Saviour's Road. So whether it's Plaza & Amphitheatre, Bees & Bugs or a Dolmen Avenue that you like the idea of, or any of the other options, we welcome your feedback.
