Islanders urged to choose plastic-free containers when shopping

Islanders are being encouraged to choose non-plastic containers when out shopping.

Campaigner Madeleine Norman from Plastic Free Guernsey says there are now many alternatives we can opt for instead with products like shampoo, toothpaste, moisturiser and other essentials.

It is all in a bid to lessen our impact on the environment by encouraging the reduction of single-use plastics.
