Expensive jewellery from the likes of Tiffany, Hamilton and Cartier has been stolen from a home in a daytime burglary on Route de Cobo in Guernsey.
Guernsey Police are investigating the thefts that happened on Thursday 20 February between the hours of 3:30pm and 11:30pm.
A window at the back of the house was smashed with a number of items of stolen from the property.
The detached house, towards the Coast Road is said to have scaffolding which police think helped the burglar(s) gain access to the window.
The pieces of jewellery taken included brands like Burgmeister, Tiffany, Hamilton and Cartier. The thief also stole a freestanding safe, along with an Indian bedspread and a number of antique 19th century cutlery sets.
A suitcase which was also taken from the property was found at a car park along Vazon coast road.
Guernsey Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and to be vigilant if they are offered any unexpected items of jewellery.
