Jersey Post is working with the government to help people from the island who study in the UK to be reunited with their belongings.

Many students have found themselves in a state of limbo after having to leave their possessions in their university accommodations at the outbreak of Covid-19.

  • Pre-packed items up to a weight of 30kg can be returned to Jersey through Parcel Monkey, a company partially owned by Jersey Post.

  • Larger items such as furniture can be posted back to the Island through Jersey Post’s Ship2Me service, through its subsidiary company Fraser Freight. Students will need to arrange delivery of their items to the Ship2Me depot in Portsmouth. Deliveries can be booked online with the promotional code STUDENT25 for a discount.

  • Students who could not pack their belongings before returning to Jersey and now cannot return the UK can contact White and Company directly, to arrange for them to enter their property and ship it to Jersey via their hub in Portsmouth.

We understand the frustration of students not being able to get their belongings back to the Island easily. With many students forced to leave their belongings behind when returning home earlier in the year, we are pleased that, through our extended network partners Parcel Monkey and Fraser Freight, we are able to offer delivery options at affordable discounted rates throughout June
