Jersey politicians to vote on lifting ban on hospital visits

Jersey politicians will today (20 January) vote on whether to allow visitors back to the General Hospital.

Most visits are banned after a number of patients caught Covid-19.

One deputy called the decision "barbaric" after the rules came into force on Thursday 13 January.

Deputy Montford Tadier said lateral flow tests would be a better way to safeguard the hospital.
