Jersey politicians have scrapped Gloucester Street as their favoured site for the island's future hospital.
They voted 39-7 in favour of Deputy Russell Labey's proposition to rescind a build replacing the existing one at Gloucester Street.
Work now begins on drawing up a new short list of possible sites, which could still include Gloucester Street.
Constable Crowcroft's amendment has been adopted which means the new hospital will not be built on People's Park or Parade Gardens.Read the full story ›
