Aurigny is investigating defamatory comments after a whistleblower alleged employees called wheelchair passengers "lame and lazy" during a staff meeting.

The inquiry will focus on whether States-owned airline Aurigny can deliver the resilient air links Guernsey needs following a widespread disruption in services.

The ATR aircraft, leased by Aurigny from Jump Air, was approaching Guernsey Airport from Southampton when investigators say it flew too low in foggy conditions.
