Cobo and Optimists will face off in the opening match of an expanded premier evening league competition as island cricket kicks into gear.

Thousands of people watched live online as Guernsey became the first place in the British Isles to host competitive cricket this season.

Guernsey Cricket has submitted a proposal to public health to play a match which would demonstrate how the sport can resume safely.
