The Hockey Inter-Insular finished in dramatic fashion at Les Quennevais this evening, Guernsey's Men retained the Trophy after an extremely tight 70 minutes against a game Jersey side.
The Sarnians made the difference with only minutes to go through a short corner routine that ended up in the back of the net.
Jersey had a couple of short corners themselves in the dying moments but were unable to capitalise on them, the game finished 1-0 for Guernsey.
Earlier a 0-0 draw between the women's first teams meant that Guernsey Women also retained the trophy as they won it last year.
