The inquest into the death of a 59-year-old cyclist in Guernsey has concluded today, saying the death was accidental.

David Allison died at Salerie Corner in April 2013.

He was riding towards town when a heavy goods vehicle turned into the smaller entrance to the car park there.

The cyclist braked sharply, falling off his bike and under the rear wheels of the lorry.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
