Jordan Reynolds: 'We can top league'

Guernsey's Director of Rugby, Jordan Reynolds, has told ITV News they "would be top" of National 3 if they could regularly repeat the standard of performance they produced on Saturday.

The Raiders were in fine form as they beat promotion contenders Westcombe Park 16-13.

A late drop goal from fly-half, Owen Thomas, sealed a dramatic victory for the hosts.

Reynolds said:

If we can perform like that every week we would be top [of the league] - there is absolutely no hands down about that. We had to beat a really good Westcombe Park side, so it gives us a lot of confidence that we can do it. One of the hardest things for any coach is to try and find your team glimpses of hope - of what the potential is - and I think we went a long way to show that.

Lewis Hillier and Adam Nixon scored a try in either half to help Guernsey to victory.

They now sit fifth in the National 3 table.
