Raiders fall short at home to East Grinstead

Guernsey fell short today at home to visiting East Grinstead, the final score 11-25.

The Raiders went into today's game on a four game winning streak, they were undefeated in 2016 and their last home loss dated back to September last year.

After going behind early the home side finished the half in the lead courtesy to two penalty kicks from Guernsey's n.10 Owen Thomas.

Despite Guernsey's forwards pushing over the line early in the second the half was dominated by East Grinstead. Tries for n.15 Graham Hogg and n. 9 Tom Parker sealed the deal for the visitors.

Guernsey face Westcombe Park away next Saturday.
