A number of celebrities flew into Jersey to raise money for General Hospital's Maternity Unit.
Veteran TV presenter Nick Owen was among the names who took part in a special fundraising event at the Raddison, this weekend.
It was to raise more than £100k for wireless fetal monitors.
The monitors will enable Jersey mother's greater freedom of movement during labour, especially those with high-risk pregnancies.
It's hoped that freedom will greatly increase the chance of a normal birth and a positive birthing experience for the mothers and their families.
While the equipment is not vital for safe births in Jersey's General Hospital, the department is looking forward to expanding the options on offer to women during births.
